Split into DC Operations (DC Ops) and DC Engineering (DC Eng), allowing learners to specialize by job function while pursuing hands-on certifications.
Includes 45 hours of main-line instruction and 12 hours of supplemental content delivered through self-paced video lessons on Academy Digital (also soon to be available in Academy Live format). Additionally, it features 26 hands-on practical virtual labs (total of 40 hours available lab time) that provide students with practical experience and reinforces concepts through real-world scenarios.
Through Academy Certification, an optional 4-hour lab-based practical exam is available for either DC Ops or DC Eng sub-tracks. Upon passing, learners earn the ACE Level 3 Specialist accreditation and digital credential validating their DC Ops or DC Eng knowledge. If a learner passes both DC Ops & DC Eng exams (taken separately), they automatically receive the ACE Level 5 Professional accreditation for Data Center.

Intended for mid-to-advanced-level network engineers, administrators and IT infrastructure automation specialists, the Automation Track provides an in-depth understanding of Arista's automation technologies and tools applicable to all Arista network architectures for Day 0, Day 1 and Day 2 deployment, operations and engineering.
The track includes introductions through advanced modules, from foundational tools to deploying full-scale fabrics with AVD for day 0, day 1 and day 2 operations.
50+ hours of main-line and supplemental content with associated hands-on virtual labs provide learners with a solid understanding of tools & techniques including the use of Git, Jinja, CVP, Python, Ansible and Cloudvision along with automation workflows and expressing the advanced features of EOS. The Academy Digital and Academy Live versions of the Campus Track are expected to launch in Q3 2025.

The Arista Certified Engineer (ACE) program has been upgraded. The former L1-L7 certification levels are migrating to our new Track-Based Learning and Certification model. This model is organized by relevant network architectures including Foundations, Data Center, Campus, Routing, and Automation.
This change provides for more relevant learning and certifications that better align with both today's network roles and Arista's products and architectures.
If you've earned an ACE certification under the previous program, your certification is still 100% valid.
When recertification is required (to be announce at a future point), you'll simply take the new, relevant track exam and receive a new credential under the upgraded program.

The Arista Academy is Arista Networks' official training & certification programs. The Academy consist of three related products; Academy Digital (online, self-paced training with e-learning platform), Arista Live (Instructor Led training provided by official training partners) and Academy Certification (exams and certification platform).
All current courses, exams, certifications and other associated material remain valid with the new program. Existing participants can continue to take courses and exams for which they're subscribed. As time goes on, existing content, exams and certifications will be EOL (End of Life) in favor of the new track based learning and certification program.
The existing ACE (Arista Cloud Engineer) program with Levels 1 through 7 (content & certifications) is evolving into the new ACE (Arista Certified Engineer) Learning Track program. The new Learning Track program enhances alignment with Arista's products and architectures as well as the functional roles found in most network environments.
An All-Access annual subscription is the best way to take advantage of the new program. This provides access to ALL tracks and existing content for a one annual price, and also includes one standard track exam and 40 hours of lab time per individual track.
A Learning Track combines content, labs and certifications into architecture relevant learning paths. These learning paths are typically further subdivided into Operations and Engineering sections, allowing focus on relevant job roles as a participant makes their way through a track.
Currently, five distinct learning tracks will be made available over the course of 2025. As of June 1, 2025 both the Foundations and Data Center tracks will be available, followed by Campus (Q3), Automation (Q3) and Routing (Q3 / Q4)
All current ACE L1 through L7 certifications remain valid in the new program. When re-certifications are announced in the future, existing certification holders will test with the new exam that most closely matches the existing certification.
The All-Access yearly subscription will provide access to all Learning Tracks (as they are released) and all existing courses including L1 through L5 and specialty courses. As time progresses, existing L1 through L5 courses will be EOL (End of Life) in favor of the new Learning Track program.
